Situated between Marbella and Calahonda, Elviria has long been a popular holiday resort due to its excellent beaches, golf courses and facilities. The area is home to the Don Carlos hotel, the Marriott Beach Club and The Alanda Club, all of which are 5 star resorts.

There are 4 main commercial centres in Elviria, offering different types of bars and restaurants to suit everyone including a coffee bar, English restaurants, typical Spanish bars, Italian Restaurants and German bakeries. There is a large supermarket, ‘Supersol’ which stocks many international brands and is open 6 days a week for your grocery needs. Additionally there is now an ‘Opencor’ supermarket open from 8am to 2am 365 days a year where you can purchase all essentials as well as International newspapers seven days a week.

Besides the supermarkets, bars and restaurants, you can also find souvenir shops, hairdressers, florists, health shops, real estate offices and many banks in the Elviria area.

Elviria beach is well known for having the finest, sandy beaches along the coast of Marbella with excellent water sport facilities in the summer. The beach is cleaned every day and there are plenty of sun beds. There are many restaurants along the beach offering fresh fish or just a drink overlooking the Mediterranean with excellent views down to Marbella, Gibraltar and even Africa on a clear day.

Elviria is the perfect base for your holiday, located close to anywhere you could wish to visit along the coast. Just a 40 minute drive from the airport, 10 minutes from Central Marbella, 15 minutes from the world famous Puerto Banus, 50 minutes from Malaga centre and an hour from the rock of Gibraltar. There is also easy access to Africa via ferry from Algeciras or Tarifa.
